Firstly, to join a credit union, you need to hold what is known as the 'common bond'. For Aviate Credit Union, this means that you must work in either of the following:
Dublin Airport and adjoining business park
Cork Airport and adjoining business park
Shannon Airport and adjoining business park
Drumcondra
In addition to employees working in those areas, family members are also permitted to join Aviate Credit Union. This is how our specific ‘common bond' operates in respect to membership.
